Women entrepreneurs have become increasingly important as they make influential impact in
global economies and businesses today. A growing number of women entrepreneurs rapidly continue to increase in Tanzania. With the changes in the world economy, it is generally open to say that Women SMEs in Tanzania are becoming increasingly important in terms of employment, economy upgrading, wealth creation, IT development and the development of innovation.
However, there are constraints that face women in the processes of finding ways to develop their business, themselves and eventually the national economy at large. Management in this sector is a challenge, weaknesses in innovation, marketing, entrepreneurial chic, practical knowledge, and human resource management and the main constraint of all is lack of financial assistance. As a result, many firms do not reach their full potential and fail to compete hence fail to grow.
This book aims at investigating and discussing the financial constraints facing small and medium women entrepreneurs (Women SMEs).
